In Q2 2024, the Android apps for some of the most beloved theme parks showed varied user engagement and download metrics. Data from Sensor Tower reveals how these apps fared in the US market.
Disneyland® Paris saw a steady pattern in downloads, ranging between 61K and 81K, with weekly active users fluctuating slightly, peaking at 259K in early April and settling around 212K towards the end of June.
The LEGOLAND® Billund Resort app experienced a dip in downloads from 61K to 31K midway through April, before rebounding to 67K by late June. However, weekly active user data was not available for this period.
Disneyland® app downloads saw a dip from 27K in early April to a low of 9K in late April and again in mid-June. Its weekly active users started at 53K, dropped to a low of 10K in early May, and saw a slight increase to 33K by mid-June.
Europa-Park & Rulantica downloads began at 36K in April, dropped to as low as 4K twice in April and May, and then increased to 28K by the end of June. Weekly active users were only reported for three weeks, starting at 10K, disappearing from the record, and then surging to 45K in the last week of June.
The Gardaland Resort Official App had varying download numbers, from 32K at the start of April to zero in mid-April and late May, before spiking to 42K in the final week of June. Weekly active users were reported at 21K for the last week of June only.
